Take 5 Oil Change agreement expands BOSS Lubricants’ Canadian footprint

BOSS is now the house-branded oil for all 38 of Take 5’s Canadian locations

CALGARY, Canada (Oct. 25, 2022)—Motorists can safely “take five” for a fast, friendly oil change.

BOSS Lubricants just keeps working.

BOSS, Canada’s fastest-growing independent lubricant manufacturer and wholesaler for the past three decades, is happy to announce that we’ve signed a three-year agreement to be the house-branded oil supplier for all 38 Take 5 Oil Change locations across Canada.

“This agreement will strengthen our brand, our reputation and our commitment to growing our footprint in the Canadian marketplace—particularly in Eastern Canada,” says Jarrett Flegel, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Calgary-based BOSS.

Of the 38 Take 5 Oil Change locations across the nation, 31 are located in Ontario—which will boost the profile and the bulk tank farm advantage of BOSS’s branch location in Bradford, ON.

Canada’s remaining seven Take 5 Oil Change locations are located in British Columbia (4), New Brunswick (2) and Prince Edward Island (1).

Take 5 Oil Change was founded in 1985, when it opened the bay to its first shop in Mississauga, ON.

Meanwhile BOSS Lubricants, founded in 1992, now has 10 branch/warehouse/bulk storage/distribution locations across Canada.

With a network of 150 Canadian distributors, we’ve also got a true coast-to-coast reach—and that’s augmented by a strong delivery network of 27 tandem delivery trucks, including three semi-trucks, to transport product to our branches and distributors.
