Heading North: BOSS Lubricants setting up shop in Grande Prairie

BOSS Lubricants will establish a warehouse and distribution centre in Grande Prairie, AB in November 2023.

Alberta city will soon become 11th location on our cross-Canada network

CALGARY, Canada (Aug. 8, 2023)—It’s Canada’s northernmost city with more than 50,000 people. It serves a regional trading population of nearly 300,000.

In many ways, Grande Prairie is the gateway to Canada’s North—and come November, its economic landscape will include BOSS Lubricants.

At BOSS, we’ve been Canada’s fastest-growing independent lubricant manufacturer and wholesaler for more than three decades. And we’re excited to announce that we’ll soon set up shop in Grande Prairie, giving us 11 branch warehouse, storage and distribution locations in our cross-Canada network.

It’s a strategic move that will help us better serve our Northern and northwestern Alberta customers in the energy, agriculture, forestry, mining and other sectors.

“At BOSS our strategic vision and plan has always been to grow, either organically or via acquisition, our northern Alberta footprint,” says Jarrett Flegel, BOSS Lubricants’ President and Chief Operating Officer.

“Signing the lease on this new warehouse-office space in Grande Prairie helps us take another important step on that journey, and provide better service to our customers that have multiple locations in Alberta.”

Headquartered in Calgary, BOSS owns and operates four other branch locations in Alberta (Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge and Plamondon), two in Saskatchewan (Saskatoon and Regina), one in British Columbia (Vancouver), one in Manitoba (Brandon) and one in Ontario (Toronto).
